I found a good post at The Snow Giraffe Blogs. Blyth Dunham gives a good example of how you can set colors in your Terminal (ie ssh) session on your Mac. I used her code, but changed it into a function that gets loaded in .bash_profile. That gives me autocompletion which makes life easier for a lazy guy like myself.
